Ready for a Wedding

I've finally got my outfit finalised for an upcoming wedding of a cousin. This is the first time that I've actually been fully prepared for a wedding and not throwing something together at the last minute! It's very exciting and quite a relief, knowing it's all organised!

As Vaughn can attest, I'm very excited about my recent purchase as part of the outfit. I bought my first pair of very impractical, 'beautiful' shoes 2 weekends ago... I call them my "Sex and the City" shoes and am in love!!


I then got creative and, using a pattern I found for free on the internet, made my own matching clutch purse. I'm quite proud of the end result... it may not be perfect, but it's mine and matches well with my shoes!


Now I just need to decide what I'm going to do with my hair and then I'm set!

Mac vs PC

Vaughn's not a cat person, but Nemo scored some points after this....



Even though he liked Nemo's loyalty to the Mac, Vaughn has learned to keep his Macbook closed after Nemo contributed to his essays recently (rrrrrrrrrsssssssssntdaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhbbbbbbbbbbb etc)!!

After trying desperately to convince me that my next computer should be a Mac, Vaughn finally relented after he realised a Mac can't do most of the things I need to use a computer for! Poor Vaughn - it was a sad day for him to realise this! Even he is annoyed that Mac can't accept the software he needs for his studies.

I expect Vaughn will require me to either post a recant or even delete this post entirely, so I will apologise in advance if this entry disappears!!
