About Me
- Name: Nell
- Location: Cairns, Queensland, Australia
I’m proudly a full-time Mummy, looking after our beautiful daughter (nicknamed “Little Spring” in my blog) and a full time wife to a wonderful Lutheran pastor (“nicknamed “Big Spring” in my blog). I was born and have lived in Australia my whole life, but I also have a US passport and a passion for all things American… especially food and my family!

Unwrapping...
Our little darling Amy has finally decided it's okay to sleep without being wrapped... this makes it much easier for us putting her to bed for naps and at night... however, now she's worked out that she can sleep without being wrapped, it looks like she is taking after her mother who can sleep pretty much anywhere (to the envy of Vaughn!)... so much so that she fell asleep in her playpen today, after I put her in there for 10 minutes while I got organised to go to Mother's Group... she was so adorably cute that I hardly had the heart to wake her up!
Motivation
Perfect motivation - "Felicity" episodes are 40 minutes long... I can watch an episode and walk on the treadmill and it won't feel like a 40 minute walk. I normally watch multiple episodes and finish the seasons quickly. However, I've decided that if I want to watch an episode, I have to be on the treadmill... this means I'll be motivated to get on, but it will also help me pace myself with the episodes!
NB: Unfortunately I came across the same problem as Lauren, who lent me her "Felicity" season, in that the DVDs aren't zoned to Australia, so can't be played on PS2 consoles... which means I couldn't watch an episode today! However, wonderful Lauren also provided me with "Gilmore Girls" so I watched the first episode of that instead! We're going to swap the DVD player from the lounge with the PS2 in the kitchen, so I can watch "Felicity" in future, which will be great... the last season though, so I will be grieving... but once again, "GG" will come to the rescue!

Sweet Irony!
While we were living in Melbourne, we were downgrading to a much smaller house, so our treadmill was given to my parents to use. As the treadmill in the sem 'gym' is broken and my folks weren't using ours anymore, Vaughn decided to make a whirlwind trip home to pick it up. It was just this week, after Easter and I couldn't get the image of the Lindt Bunnies on the treadmill out of my head, so I had to set it up! Those bunnies are now "gone" and will be worked off on the treadmill. So... sweet irony!

Amy's First Easter
Yep, yet another milestone for Amy... her first Easter!
The bunny was given to her by my mum... since I was 7 or 8 or so, I've always gotten a bunny from Easter Bunny (or my mum, in later years!) and it's always been a tradition, right up until this year, being the first year I didn't get one... but this has now been passed on to Amy, so she'll be getting one each year from now on... we are going to have many bunnies on our hands!
I pray you all had a blessed Easter as we celebrate our Risen LORD!
